It resets the counters that store the number of several types of frames (I, RR, RNR, REJ, FRMR, UI (LAPD only)) that are transmitted and received through that line and the number of errors detected in the sequence number (N(s)). It is necessary to indicate the line number whose counters we want to reset, and for the set operation it only admits the value 1. In a get operation we will get the result of the last trial for deleting the frame counter: if it succeeded, the variable takes the value 2 (ok); if the delete operation did not succeed, the variable takes the value 3 (error); if nobody has tried to delete the counters, the value taken will be 4 (undefined).
